I hope that you would take very serious this issue, you see there are many Christians around the world that have already given their lives for what they believe. We here in America, for the most part, have not had to resist unto death, like many others before us have. So, are us westernized Christians any more worthy of life, are we worthy to live and drive our nice cars and eat from our plentiful tables? Why do we get to live, while people in China, Africa and various other countries, are being killed and suffering severe persecution for their faith? Now it is abundantly obvious that America and westernized countries have been turned over, by God, to those who hate and wish to destroy the culture and the wealth! Everyday that these destroyers from God, are in power, they get one step closer to their goal and that is the destruction of America and westernized culture! Make no mistake dear Christians, GOD HAS DONE THIS, we are under the judgment of God as a nation and as a people who make claim to the name of Jesus, as their own!
If it was God’s plan to kill us all, don’t you think that our enemies would just succeed at getting their hands on a bunch of nuclear weapons and wipe us out? I know that there are a bunch of Christians that do expect to die any day, they are just waiting and struggling in great fear, having seen their beloved country, America, on the road to most certain destruction! There are those who see America and western culture as “Babylon the Great, that city which rules over the Kings of the earth”. Many of these people are actually pining for and desiring for the destruction of America, some by their actions, are helping to further it’s destruction! They do this by refusing to vote for the better politician, of course they claim that politicians are all the same, so why even vote? Any sane person knows that this is not true, yet they are actively participating in the destruction of their own country! A while back I was participating in an e-mail exchange with a poor black woman who claimed to be a Christian, she had no problem speaking with me about the things of God, even seemed interested in the subject. Now this woman, based on what she told me, was voting for Barrack Hussein Obama, it became apparent that this woman simply hated America, she told me once that 80% of the American people believed that 911 was an inside job, I told her that this was not the facts, but she insisted that I was wrong! This woman believed in the lie that America was a patently racist country, she claimed that she would be more loved as a black woman in a Muslim country, because they were not racist like Americans were! What am I supposed to say, how can you possibly answer such insanity? Some times I wonder where she is today and how that “hope and change” is working out for her, it wonder if she found that “loving” Muslim country to move to yet?
America is in big trouble and that trouble is coming right from God! So far the major effects of this trouble has caused fear in the hearts of Christian Americans. However, before you start digging your grave or the grave of America, allow me the attempt to set somethings straight for you in your hearts and minds.
According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not. For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: (Php 1:20-23 av)
The ONLY reason that any of us should live, is if by our living, Christ is magnified. Many poor Christians living in various countries where they are killed and persecuted around the world, have no reason to live any longer, they are FAR BETTER off dead than alive! Now please don’t misunderstand me, I am not at all showing a calloused heart over their unjust plight, consider the following scriptures:
The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come. (Isa 57:1 av)
What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth? Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my helper. Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever. (Ps 30:9-12 av)
My only question to you, then has to be, if you are allowed to live, does that result in Christ being glorified? Or are you perhaps, better off dead? Just a question I think you should wrestle with, don’t you? All of us will most likely die sooner or later, my question to you is, how do you want to go? Do you want to die in some mishap or do you want to die being counted worthy to suffer for Christ and bringing glory to the Lord? There is nothing worse than to die for nothing and there is nothing worse than to live for nothing! Are we not as Christians ordained to live for the glory of Christ, not I that live, but Christ that lives in me? I have heard Christians claim that great persecution will come to Christians in order to separate the fake ones from the real ones, well I can tell you that this is certainly possible, but I wouldn’t say that it is a for gone conclusion either. When the Jews were put into Nazi concentration camps, did they turn in mass to their Messiah, Jesus? No I don’t think so! Are there not, many end-time teachers today still claiming that persecution and death among the Jewish people will result in their salvation? Yes they are saying this, but where in scripture does it ever give this principle of wisdom, that persecution is meant to separate true Christians from false Christians? I don’t know of any, do you? I believe that true suffering for Christ can only occur to true Christians, and a true Christian is already dead to themselves and being transformed into his image, yes, we can learn obedience through the things we suffer, but I just don’t see the mass death of Christians as a means of separating the sheep from the wolves! I could be wrong, but I would sure rather live while I am alive for the glory of the Lord, wouldn’t you?
Now therefore, what have I here, saith the LORD, that my people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them make them to howl, saith the LORD; and my name continually every day is blasphemed. Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I. How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth! Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again Zion. Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the LORD hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem. The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God. Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD. For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the LORD will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rereward. Behold, my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high. (Isa 52:5-13 av)
Does the above account of the salvation of the Lord seem to you to be all about the death of the Saints or is it more about the life of the Saints? Will God indeed save his people before the eyes of the whole world? I believe that the overriding issue that should be sought after in the lives of true Christians, is how do we live, not how do we die, or when will we die, I want to know when will we live that he might also live through us! Don’t test my metal by checking whether I love God enough to die for him, teach me how to live by him and in him; and of course die to self that he may live! I want to abide in that hope that I shall not be ashamed at his coming, that I might be counted worthy to escape, that I might walk in and obtain the favor of the Lord Jesus!
Unfortunately, there are many professing Christians that are ready to die for a lot other than Christ. I, for one, do not want to die for so called “historical Christianity” define by the religious scholars of our day or “Christian Creeds”! I do not want to die for politics, for our so called freedom outside of Christ! I do not want to die for the culture war, to stand up for so called “The Christian America”! The only thing worthy of death to me, is the Glory of Jesus Christ and until then I aim to LIVE in HIM!
